Roy
M. Lee, P.E. ~ President/Principal of Engineering
Over the last twenty four years, Mr. Lee has established
an exceptionally solid background of electrical, mechanical and
plumbing engineering design. Along with high quality project,
construction administration and management skills, his many
engineering designs include new construction and renovation
projects, large size governmental and industrial facilities,
multi-family housing, commercial, retail and department stores,
restaurants, supermarkets, recreation centers, resorts and
clubhouses, custom homes, medical and office buildings.
Mr. Lee earned his BSEE degree in 1989 at UC Irvine, and holds dual
Professional Registrations in the fields of both Electrical and
Mechanical Engineering. He is currently licensed in the states of
California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Hawaii under
both disciplines. Mr. Lee has become a Certified Green Building
Professional. Most recently, Roy has become a Residential Certified
Energy Plans Examiner (CEPE). He has been certified by the National
Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), and is a
proud Member of professional associations such as ASHRAE, IEEE, the
AAAe, and the NFPA.
Mr. Lee has progressively acquired a great deal of experience and
knowledge in the design of various types of Building HVAC systems,
central systems, utilizing chillers and cooling towers. His vast
project experience ranges from industrial facilities, retail
centers, restaurants, fast food chains, and office buildings, to
various multi family housing facilities, recreational buildings,
custom homes, supermarkets, department stores, and fire stations, as
well as school modernization and construction. His knowledge
includes building load calculation, California State Title-24 Energy
Compliance, Project Management and Construction Administration.
Mr. Lee’s multi-discipline engineering accomplishments and expertise
include facility power distribution and lighting system design,
building HVAC, domestic water, waste, gas and plumbing system
design, energy analysis and compliance, switch utilities, computer
room power distribution, UPS emergency power system design, PCS cell
site power system design, fire alarm system design and other
specialized high-tech facilities.
Glenn
B. Guevarra ~ Project Manager for Electrical Engineering
In the
last fourteen years of his engineering career, Mr. Guevarra has
progressively built up a great deal of skill and knowledge in the
design of various types of electrical systems. His extensive project
experience ranges from industrial facilities, retail centers,
restaurants, fast food chains, and office buildings, to various
multi family housing facilities, recreational buildings, custom
homes, supermarkets, department stores, and civic centers, as well
as school modernization and construction. In addition, Mr.
Guevarra’s engineering skills include building power and lighting
distribution, building load calculation, California State Title-24
Compliance, Project Management and Construction Administration.
Mr. Glenn Guevarra earned his BSEE engineering degree from UC
Irvine, California, in 1998, and has become one of the core members
of Southwest Group Engineering Consultants, Inc.
Mike (Ming Liang) Chan ~ Senior Electrical Engineer
Mr.
Chan is an accomplished electrical designer with extensive
consulting experience. For over 20 years he has proven excellent
work in project development programs for commercial, residential,
retail, industrial and government markets. He has broad knowledge of
electrical design, including building power and lighting
distribution, building load calculation, California State Title-24
Energy Compliance, Project Management and Construction
Administration, comes from years of experience. He is proficient in
how to devise new approaches to problems, prepare and modify
drawings, specifications, calculations, and monitor work for
compliance while still adhering to applicable codes. Mr. Chan’s
engineering knowledge expands to National Fire Protection
Association/National Electrical Code (NFPA/NEC) Standards,
California Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards, and IEEE/IES/API
Standards.
Thomas Q. Do ~ Senior Mechanical Engineer
During
the last twelve years of his Mechanical Engineering career, Mr. Do
has progressively acquired a great deal of experience and knowledge
in the design of various types of Building HVAC systems, central
systems, utilizing chillers and cooling towers. His vast project
experience ranges from retail centers, restaurants, and office
buildings, to various multi family housing facilities, recreational
buildings, supermarkets and single family homes as well as school
modernization and construction.
Mr. Do is expert in California Title-24 Energy Compliance and has
achieved a Certification as California Energy Plan Examiner (CEPE)
for Non-residential and Residential buildings.
